Indian unprovoked aggression against Pakistan on 6tth September 1965 was a blatant violation of UN Charter Article 2(4) which does not permit use of force against territorial integrity of political sovereignty of any member of state, said Senator Lt Gen Abdul Qayyum while addressing a big gathering in Birmingham.
The seminar was organised by Raja Ishtiaq chairman Quad-i-Azam Welfare Trust UK.
Lt Gen Abdul Qayyum Chief Patron of the Trust went on to say that Indian claim of attacking Pakistan in self-defence after operation Gibraltar of GRAND SLAM was unfounded because above operation was being conducted in the disputed region of Kashmir and not across the international borders.

However, India miserably failed to breaK Pakistan with her two pincers directed against Lahore and Sialkot and ultimately agreed to sign Tashkent Declaration in January 1966 in which both countries agreed for peaceful solution of the Conflict through dialogue. Later, as per Shimla argument and Lahore Accord also India agreed for peaceful solution of all issues including Kashmir.
Unfortunately India again took international law into her own hands and launched operation Sandhoor in May 2025 and got a historic beating and faced international humiliation. Pakistan’s befitting response to Indian aggression was internationally acknowledged.
Pakistan armed forces counter offense was a unique display of a brilliant, coordinated hybrid war counter stroke including ground operations, air battles, cyber war and space satellite utilisation.

Gen Abdul Qayyum went on to say that inter services public relations (ISPR) department , however played a pivotal role and outclassed Indian and Israeli media in the information and narratives warfare. Whereas air vice marshal Aurangzeb of PAF made convincing presentation supported by digital facts, DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudary’s forceful briefings based on actual facts convinced the world of her professional superiority which changed the balance of power in South Asia.
Former Indian ex-army chief Gen Bipan Rawat conceded Pakistan’s superiority in the information warfare. Besides, a former cyber security chief was reported as saying:
“Pakistan has got their acts together in information warfare against India”

Same opinion was highlighted in a Seminar held in India on the subject of,
“Information and space warfare”
A retired Indian Army General highlighted Pakistan’s narrative warfare policy on Kashmir which projected their case in the west as human rights violations in Kashmir. However, whilst addressing the Muslim world they raised the issue of atrocities against the Muslims in India, and when addressing countries of southeast Asia, Pakistan regarded it as danger for regional stability.
Pakistan being a peace-loving country wants peace not only in South Asia but in the entire world. Pakistan has proved this by their outstanding diplomatic endeavours to bring a ceasefire in the Middle East and getting a fundamental document Islamabad accord signed. Pakistan, however, is always ready to defend its territorial integrity against any outside aggression directly or through their proxies.
